Mehmet is member of IFA as a fellow.

He started his career after graduating from Southbank University with a BA(Hons) in Finance. Mehmet then Moved to a top ten accountancy firm in London; HW Fishers, where he completed his training to be an Accountant and remained at the firm for 4 years.

Mehmet then moved to Moores Rowland where he spent time primarily in the audit department. He then moved to Charterhouse Group, where he was Group accountant for 5 years being in full charge of the entire finance department reporting directly to the Board.

In 1987, Mehmet decided to branch out on his own and started his own practice in London Bridge. After a period of growth moved to offices in Surrey Quays and then to Sidcup in Kent where we are currently based.

Over the next 35 years the firm has grown steadily and he now looks after in excess of 600 clients.

In his spare time Mehmet enjoys shooting, fishing and gardening

Selin Osman

Partner

Selin started her career in 2008 when she decided to change career paths as an Interior Architect to become a Chartered Certified Accountant.

 

Selin is currently the Practice Manager at MKS. She started at the practice initially as a book-keeper. After gaining extensive knowledge in this area she then moved into the HR & Payroll department and from there into Accounts Preparation, then Taxation, all within the space of 5 years.

 

Whilst working her way up through the company she decided to study for the ACCA which she successfully completed. This was her proudest moment; being a mum, working full time and studying is no easy task……but achievable!

 

For the past 6 years she has been running the practice alongside her father Mehmet, the knowledge and work ethic gained from his long standing experience is invaluable and inspiring to her.

 

She believes her success is down to her personality and without doubt the amazing staff.

 

Selin doesn’t describe herself as your typical Accountant, working with her should be fun, she does not like ridged environments and believes clients need to find professionals approachable, not intimidating….. this is the key to her success.

DEPT: ACCOUNTS & TAXATION

Erhan is a member of the Accounts and Taxation team at MKS.

After completing University, Erhan’s career started at Barclays in the mortgage completion team before becoming team leader in the finance and fraud department.

Erhan joined MKS in 2005 and has worked his way up through the firm into the Accounts and Taxation team.

Erhan has very strong analytical skills and likes to do a lot of research in his field. He also specialises in Company Secretarial functions.

In his out of work life, Erhan spends most of his time with his family and enjoys watching motorsport and listening to music. He also has a penchant for baking which he spoils us at the office with.

WENDY DAS

DEPT ACCOUNTANT & TAXATION

Wendy joined MKS in 2017 within the Accounts and Taxation department. She did also previously worked for the firm for a number of year previous to this.

Wendy has been working in the accounting industry since only pen, paper and a calculators were used to prepare accounts. Now with the use of new cloud accounting software, Wendy has been through a dynamic change in the field, and although technology has changed the accounting industry, the fundamental characteristics that embody Wendy have not: prudence, professionalism and integrity.

Gardening is a side hobby of hers and she uses this in the way she conducts herself and her work: with love and care.

TUGBA BUDAK

DEPT: BOOKKEEPING & PAYROLL

Tugba Budak is one of our Advanced Bookkeepers at MKS Accountants. Following her career in the education sector, she decided to utilise her passion for numbers in the accounting world.

Working for the firm for nearly three years, she specialises in VAT and Annual Accounts for Catering Businesses, as well as supporting the team with administrative and payroll duties.

During her time at MKS, Tugba has developed her knowledge in this field vastly and has built a strong and trusting relationship with both colleagues and our clients.

Additionally, she is fluent in both the English and Turkish languages, please feel free to contact her in either, as she is always happy to help.

Onome Felix-Eshalomi is a Bookkeeper at MKS Accountants.

Joining the company in 2017 as an apprentice and a bright-eyed adventurous young woman. Onome successfully completed her AAT in 2020 and is now studying to gain her ACCA qualification under a new training contact with the firm.

Onome has gained extensive knowledge in VAT, PAYE and CIS functions and continues to develop herself with the fast changing regulations.

Onome loves to read, binging series’ and lives life to the fullest.

IBRAHIM YOSMA

DEPT: BOOKKEEPING & PAYROLL

Ibrahim is one of the Bookkeepers and is part of the Payroll team here at MKS.

Shortly after leaving college he started working in an Accountancy practice as an apprentice whilst studying for the AAT.

With Over 5 years’ experience working within practice he has become specialised in VAT and Bookkeeping. Ibrahim is the newest member of the team and joined MKS in February 2021.

Providing great customer service and communication is key to Ibrahim as he wants to make your life as a business owner or a client a lot easier. He is constantly working hard to update his knowledge on new regulations.

He is a man with many interests, outside of the office, he has an everlasting travel bug, has a love for adventure and discovering new places; just one of his many interests.

RHIANNON CHAPMAN

COMPANY ADMINISTRATOR

Rhiannon is the Executive Assistant & Administrative Coordinator at MKS.

 

After 10 years travelling the globe in the television industry, she transfered her organisational and people management skills to assist the team at MKS in 2017.

 

Building strong relationships with colleagues and clients is at the core of her working ethos; facilitating easy communication between the two. Just don’t talk politics or football.

 

When not in the office her life revolves around two young children and all the madness that accompanies them.
